ABOUT ME

Photo cred: Jon Frederick (@llamarunner)
My name is Rebecca Trachsel (aka Trax).  I'm a wife, a mom of 2 amazing girls, a Masters runner (40+), a coach and an avid music fan.  I've run in some way, shape or form since I was in 5th grade.  I've always loved music.  And I'm admittedly addicted to coffee. Presently, I coach girls XC and track at Lexington High School in MA.  In the winter I work up at Cannon Mountain in NH.  In the summer, I rest....sort of.  I'm a proud ambassador for SKECHERS PERFORMANCE, JANJI, JAYBIRD SPORTSNUUN, RUNNERBOX, HONEYSTINGERZENSAH and FitFam and I am insanely lucky to represent all of them.  I created this blog to write about my two greatest passions, (beyond my family) RUNNING and MUSIC.  I am inspired and driven by both.

  1. Hello, a guy is releasing music he wrote in the 70s that was used by the East German Olympians
to train. It's interesting stuff. Enjoy.

    Hello Rebecca,
Just a quick message to ask if you would be interested in a ‘mutual’ following on twitter that will benefit you. (#FYI I do RT’s ‘Anytime’ for all #Triathletes #Cyclists #UltraRunners #Marathoners #FitnessProfessionals who follow me on Twitter and have something important they want mentioned for support…Over 41K folks at your access...) I am currently following you now and am awaiting your follow-back...

All the very best to you & your family for the rest of 2013 & beyond Rebecca. Look forward to hearing from you…

(PS. Rebecca, should you follow back, I'll be mentioning you in my #FollowFriday #Shoutouts this Friday...)

  5. I hope you're not running with music to the exclusion of the surrounding stimuli. That could be dangerous for both yourself and for others.
